What our warranty covers
We want you to be able to enjoy your Fosfo coat for many years to come. That is why we design our garments using high-quality, durable materials.
The Fosfo warranty applies to coats with RDS-certified down as well as the cardio collection. It covers manufacturing defects, including:
- Seams
- Zippers
- Snap buttons
- Insulation
- Elastic cords
- Delamination
This warranty is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase of your Fosfo product.
What our warranty does not cover
The Fosfo guarantee does not cover damage caused by an accident (such as tears or burns), improper maintenance, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural or chemical degradation of colors and materials over time.
Before sending us your Fosfo article
In order for us to perform the repair under the best possible conditions, your Fosfo item must be sent to us freshly laundered. This allows us to accurately assess the issue and perform quality work.
It is also a matter of respect for our seamstresses, who handle each garment by hand and deserve to work in a clean and safe environment.
If your item is sent to us without having been laundered, a cleaning fee of $50 plus taxes will be applied before the repair begins.
Shipping costs to our studio are the responsibility of the customer. Please allow 2 to 4 weeks for the repair, plus return shipping time.

COME TO THE WORKSHOP
You also have the option of coming directly to our workshop on Chabanel in Montreal to have your coat repaired on-site, or simply to discuss the condition of your garment with our team. It is often faster, and it is an opportunity to see the place where your coat was created.
